Formal Fashion

These days the world of fashion has grown into it’s own art. We have so many mixes and matches with fashion. Since I cover the world of formal wear, I’m going to be talking about a few seasonal formal wear looks. Formal wear doesn’t mean you have to dress as though you are going to a wedding or big event. Not by any means, you can dress it down or up for any occasion. One of my favorite things to do is mix formal wear with sporty wear. You get a classy formal sporty look. There in it’s own, a new-look is created.

Summer Formal Fashion

Well, as we know, summer is hot and we want to stay cool. Well, that can still be done wearing formal wear. It’s simple, you just wear less. Example, you can wear a tang top with some fitted dress pants or even some jeans with a pair of sandals, flats, or high heels. Add a few accessories and you are all set. On a day that is not to hot, especially in the afternoons, you could wear a light jacket or blazer, even pop that collar with a nice knee-length skirt and sneakers of your choice. I could see it being paired with some converse, vans or pumas’s. The sky’s the limit, that’s the best part about fashion, you can have the look you are going for, but giving it that flair.

Fall Formal Fashion

So we are getting into fall, we can start pulling out the light scarves and start wearing more of our light jackets and sweaters. You can pair the sweater with jeans and dress shoes, or sweater with light jacket, dress pants and sneakers. Even a skirt with some dress shoes and sneakers paired with a sweater or button up with blazer. Again, you can do what you want and still keep that formal edge while letting the other styles blend in. And to add to it, it all depends on how you accessories. Some people prefer darker clothing, and some prefer bright or loud clothing. As the seasons chance from Summer to Winter and back, we see changes in colors with clothes, just as we do with seasons.

However, don’t be afraid to cheat, it’s OK to wear bright clothes in the winter and dark one’s in the summer. It just comes down to want you are going to pair it with.

Winter

Oh Winter! My favorite time to dress, seeing as I am a jacket and coat freak. Yes, the jackets, coats, sweaters, scarves and gloves. This is the time where you can look super formal because you are simply adding more to the outfit. Wearing a beautiful red sweater with a big white asymmetrical cut coat and some fitted jeans, hair pulled back with a couple strands dangling at one side, some diamond earrings and a sick ear cuff. Yeah, I think that will look pretty cool. Winter is also a time where we can layer a lot, so you use many different colors or shades of the same color.

You also get to wear boots which you can pair with most winter outfits and change your look completely. Rock a big blanket scarf, over a cashmere top, a skirt and knee-high boots.

Spring

Spring has sprung, this is a time when just like Fall you start wearing warmer clothing, except you are heading into Summer, so that will soon all change. You start transitioning into brighter colors with less clothing so that you don’t melt. Spring is a time for you to bring out your bright colored shirts with your dress pants/skirt and loafers/flats and we can even make it more formal by adding a sweater over the shoulders if you want.

Spring is like a reset for the clothing season. It starts all over again and you might have bought some new gear that you are ready to rock, especially coming out of the Winter months. Though I like Winter fashion, I love when the seasons are changing because I get to wear different clothing and feel different as well.

Conclusion

Fashion, like the seasons, change, but fashion is diverse in the fact that you can mix seasons and trends. It makes it interesting, unique and fun. The different colors, shapes, and sizes, the different accessories and fragrances, the different seasons in which you have fun interchanging your looks, fashion is a world of diversity, it’s all about the finished product.
